Last updated: February 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the $INFER platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

$INFER is a decentralized infrastructure network for AI inference. The platform connects consumers who require AI inference capabilities with node operators who provide GPU computing resources. The Service includes API access, dashboard interfaces, and payment processing.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use certain features of the Service. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. API Usage and Rate Limits

Access to the inference API is provided on a pay-per-use basis. You agree to use the API in accordance with our documentation and rate limits. Excessive usage, abuse, or attempts to circumvent rate limits may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your access.

5. Node Operator Terms

Node operators who provide GPU resources to the network agree to maintain minimum uptime requirements, keep their node software updated, and comply with the staking requirements. Earnings are distributed based on the amount of inference work completed and the quality of service provided.

6. Payments and Billing

Consumers are billed based on their API usage. Deposits can be made via supported payment methods. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Node operator payouts are processed according to the payout schedule outlined in the operator documentation.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to generate harmful or misleading content, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems, or to interfere with the proper functioning of the network.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. $INFER shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
